'Toronto, Canada Travel Vlog: A 3 day food tour eating around Toronto including juicy soup dumplings, an incredible double cheeseburger and our first time trying poutine. Definitely barely touched the surface of the incredible food in Toronto but we gave it a good shot! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LAST VIDEO: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - *Arriving in Toronto from NYC* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfYtlTAPraY&t=9s - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PEOPLE IN THIS VIDEO: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - *Elly* Subscribe to Jelly Journeys: https://www.youtube.com/user/jellyjourneys Follow Elly on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ellythings Read Jelly\'s travel blog: https://jellyjourneys.com/blog/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - *Joe* Subscribe to Joe: https://www.youtube.com/user/AllamJoe Follow Joe on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/joeallam Read Joe\'s blog: https://joeallam.co.uk/blog - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PLACES MENTIONED: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Poutini\'s House of Poutine - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Works is great though there are over 9 different types of poutine available - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kensington Market - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A very diverse area with a ton of food options. Big on street art, vintage stores and street food places. Jumbo Empanadas is meant to be great. So is Seven Lives for fish tacos. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tim Horton\'s - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I went for a timbit (original glazed) with a signature black coffee. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Bar Hop - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Great selection of craft beers and whiskey. I went for the Old Fashioned (lovely) and the Tokyo Rose Saison beer. Though the sour ale was mega mega sour, it was still very good! They also serve food too. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Cacao 70 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If you love hot chocolate or chocolate in general, give this place a go. Though they offer a brunch menu, everybody seemed to go for the desserts, chocolate fondues and/or hot chocolate. I went for the Lazy Breakfast and there was a LOT of meat - particularly ham. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Distillery District - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It seemed to be a great place for restaurants, bars and boutique shops. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dumpling House - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Standard dumplings offered boiled or fried. There\'s a lot of different types to choose from and the prices were reasonable. It isn\'t mind-blowing but it tastes like the kind of dumplings you grew up having at home. I\'d recommend the pork and chive over the ones we had. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Juicy Dumpling - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I was a BIG fan of Juicy Dumpling considering how great value it is. They also offer the soup dumplings fried but I zoned in on the pork and crab and pork steamed ones instead. Get yourself the crab and pork soup ones. Worth the extra few dollars! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ward\'s Island/Toronto Islands - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Not a food spot but my favourite spot in Toronto. It\'s only a short ferry ride away (15 mins) and it felt like we had escaped to another world. Almost like Animal Crossing. Warmed my soul. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Rudy - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - My favourite burger of the entire trip. A messy one but one worth licking your fingers for. We went for the double bacon cheeseburger with fries. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - FIND ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - *Daily updates on Instagram* http://www.instagram.com/dejashuu *Find me on Twitter* http://www.twitter.com/dejashu *Find me on Facebook* http://www.facebook.com/dejashu ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT I USE TO FILM MY TRAVEL VLOGS AND GUIDES: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Panasonic GH5 with 12-60mm Leica Lens: https://amzn.to/3fO4GVJ iPhone 11 Pro Max (512GB): https://amzn.to/2WsyXlp Canon G7X MK III: https://amzn.to/2WviuNw GoPro Hero 8: https://amzn.to/2LrQO5L Rode Wireless GO mic: https://amzn.to/2T4Xpay Rode VideoMicro mic: https://amzn.to/3bqTsD9 128GB SD Card: https://amzn.to/2Llylro ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Music* epidemicsounds.com #toronto #foodtour #travelvlog #canada'
